CHEAP UK GYM MEMBERSHIP
With an increasingly image-conscious nation, we all want to look and feel our best, but the cost of gym membership can be quite simply unaffordable for many people. This is why we find better deals for you at the top UK gyms, to help save you hundreds of pounds a year, yet get the same benefits as a full member of the gym.
We have offers from Gyms such as Virgin Active, Holmes Place (now run by Virgin Active), Cannons, Fitness First, LA Fitness and David Lloyd, often in association with healthcare insurance, so you are not only saving money on Gym Membership, but you are also fully covered in the event of needing any healthcare treatment.
We currently have some great FREE GYM PASSES available at 3 countrywide gym chains.
The best one currently is a fantastic FREE 5 DAY GYM PASS at LA Fitness - perfect for trying out everything in the gym of your choice for almost a full week to really work out if the gym is for you or not.
There is also a FREE 3 DAY GYM PASS at Fitness First Health Clubs. They have great facilities, and expert trainers who can help you work out your own fitness plan to help you reach your own targets - whether losing a few kilos, muscle building, or just generally get a bit fitter!
These deals are ideal if you're not sure about joining a gym, but want to try it out, CLICK HERE to find out more!
If there's no Fitness First near you, then we also have a FREE 1 day pass at Esporta gyms - either option gives you the ability to try out a gym for free with no ties at all. We really recommend trying these out before you jump into any long term commitment - and you will probably even be able to negotiate a long term membership discount with the sales team when you're there!
We're currently looking for a great long term offer to advertise here - if anyone knows of one at a nationwide gym chain, let us know and we'll try to get an even better deal for you! In the meantime, we suggest you go for a free trial day at the gym you're interested in, then negotiate with the sales person at that gym - they all have sales targets to meet, and if you catch them at the right time you may get a great deal for helping them hit their signup target for the month!
Alternatively, if you just want a quick fitness boost, or don't want to be tied to a whole year in the same gym, LA Fitness currently offer a 2 month short term membership for as little as a one off fee of £69.

If a 2 month contract is too long, or your workout regime tends to go in fits and starts, you can try Fitness First - they have over 160 gyms throughout the UK, and they have an offer for a 2 week gym membership from just £27. This offer is available through our partner The Gym Website - simply search for your postcode on their site, and they'll give you the nearest Fitness First gym to you.
While for many, gym or health club membership seems a great way to get into shape, and often meet new people, it can actually be a costly mistake. If you are unsure if you're going to get full value from what can be a very expensive pastime, why not use our Guide to Choosing your gym, or maybe, if you just want to spend a couple of months seriously getting into shape for a particular event, you should check out Local Leisure Centres to see if there's a cheaper alternative.
It's well known that many people sign up to year long memberships with good intentions, but the simple fact is they lose motivation quickly, and are just throwing money away. We offer advice on how to go about either getting the cheapest membership for the facilities you need, or whether you're better off just paying each time you go at a local council run leisure centre, which are fast realising the potential, and many offer very high quality facilities nowadays.
You need to be aware that gyms often offer different level of membership according to when you need to visit them - if like many people, you want to use the gym in the early evening, after work for example, you'll be paying their peak-rate. However if you are able to visit the gym regularly during the day, you can usually benfit from a good discount due to it being off-peak hours when the gym isn't so busy - so think carefully about what type of membership you want to go for!
If you prefer working out in the comfort of your own home then gym equipment is what you need. If you have adequate space in your house or garage it is worth considering working out at home.
We can also recommend fully qualified, expert fitness instructors, offering you substantial discounts on their usual rates, so if you need a truly intense and personal workout, whether in a local gym, or in the privacy of a private training centre, we can put you in contact with the best trainers in the business to help you achieve the results you want.
